In the past few days, the name of Junior Tallo, Chievo's 18year old striker, has often been associated to Inter as a possible transfer target, keeping in mind that the Milan club is always interested in talented players for the future. On the young player originally from Ivory Coast, the Gazzetta dello Sport had announced an almost imminent deal that would take him to the black-blue club in a matter of days. Our enquiries have led us to believe that there is some talks in progress, but that these will certainly not be completed as quickly as the daily sports newspaper had led to believe. The team manager of the Verona, Giovanni Sartori, club confirms these intuitions to us in an exclusive interview.

Sir, can you confirm Inter's interest for Tallo?

"Yes, there is an interest."

Will it be a quick deal?

"I do not think so, I repeat, Inter has shown interest, but I think you should talk with the involved club, the Nerazzurri."

On Tallo we have encountered conflicting information, some say he has only played a total of 22 minutes with the academy this season and that he has been guilty of an escape to France not too long a go.

"That is not true, he has been away with the national team and has travelled to his family in France for personal reasons."

What is the expected time for the deal to go through?

"I believe the matter will be solved by the end of December."
