Fresh disappointment at Inter, both at player and managerial level: after Sneijder got kicked out from the run to 2010 Golden Ball, today Marco Branca was today informed he will not be among the candidates as best manager of the year 2010, a prize which will be awarded in Dubai this coming December during the second edition of the Globe Soccer event. ECA, the Association of the European Clubs picked 5 candidates for the best manager of the year category: Abramovich (Chelsea), Gil (Atletico Madrid), Rosell (Barcellona), Hoeness (Bayern Monaco) and, surprisingly Adriano Galliani of A.C. Milan given his important role in the achievements of his club throughout the Berlusconi era. Those who tought that this prize could be awarded to the best performers of the year 2010 should now know that this is not the case, again.
