According to the experts, Inter has set it's eyes on two major target for the January transfer window: PSV Eindhoven's 24 year old  Ibrahim Afellay and Dirk Kuyt, aged 30. When analysing the technical and tactical reasons behind these transfers, they both appear reasonable and hence plausible. Rafa Benitez himself has taken the opportunity after the Cagliari match to state his wish for two more players to improve the current squad. Fifa agent Alberto Faccini, known for his expertise when it comes to Dutch football, expresses in exclusive for FcInterNews.it his opinion regarding the two Oranje internationals.

Faccini, let's start with Afellay.

"He is a player whose performance has been of high level for many years now, his being linked to Italian football on several occasions does not come as a surprise."

Has he ever been close to any Italian club?

"Fiorentina showed an interest for him 3/4 years a go."

And what can you tell us about Dirk Kuyt?

"I believe that everybody who has interest in football internationally is aware of this player's qualities."

Are they players that can interest Inter?

"This I do not know, I must say I am not aware of what Rafa Benitez thinks. Having said this, I can add without doubt that Afellay and Kuyt are two good quality players who can play an important role in any team."
