"I like Ranocchia. Inter made a good coup"

For years he was a Nerazzurri pillar for the defence of Gigi Simoni and world class Ronaldo’s Inter. Now Fabio Galante is without a club and was hosted by Sky to speak about the Serie A and about Italian defenders in particular. He spoke about Genoa’s Andrea Ranocchia, a player who is co-owned by Inter and who has a very bright future: “In my day there were great performers of this role such as Cannavaro, Nesta and Fresi. Now the teams are filled with foreigners, it’s the same with Cesena, newly promoted; they have many in their roster. Among the young players, I love Ranocchia. He is a young man with great qualities who will do well in his career, Inter have made a good coup for the future.”
