Interviewed by Premium Calcio after a 3-0 victory against Korean team of Seongnam, Benitez commented the match that allowed Inter to reach the final of the FIFA Club World Cup: "It has been a tough game because Seongnam was well prepared and because we lost Sneijder very soon. Many players returned from injuries and most of them need to return to full fitness; overall the team performed well". Milito is now back in the squad and helped the team with an assist for Captain Zanetti and with the third goal for the Nerazzurri.  How important is Milito for the team? "With him, Sneider, Eto'o and Pandev we have always been a threat to all the teams; without Milito we lost a bit of our potential but now that he is back everyone can see the results of his work". How will the squad approach the next game as Mazembe is surprisingly in the final? "Mazembe did a great game yesterday; we have to verify if we can recover some more players for the coming game. For sure the team will play with the right attitude"

Any news about Sneijder? "It is nothing serious; he will play on Saturday". Sacchi asks  Benitex if this victory could help the team recover from its recent bad performances "I hope that this vicotry can be a new starting point for all of us, team members and management. One last question to Mr. Benitez arrives from former Inter coach Trapattoni: which asks about the strategic approach to the match: "We could have approached the game in two ways: wait and counterattack or press them high if they didnt want to lead the game. At the beginning we privileged approach number one and after the goals we switched to the second option. This was our only choice considering all the players returning from injuries and the hot weather conditions.
